Cone Performance Overall Warranty:
To be considered for warranty replacement or repair, at the discretion of Cone Performance, all products must be returned, with original proof of purchase to Cone Performance by customer. Eligibility for warranty consideration shall be verified with corrective action required upon visual inspection of the presumed defective product. Cone Performance shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to, installation labor charges, freight, or loss of use or damage to vehicle or other property, or injury to operator, passengers, or others. Pictures and original receipt are required, to assist in promptness of verification of possible defective items.
Cone Performance Motorcycle Exhaust Warranty
Cone Performance warrants its motorcycle products to be free from manufacturer defects from date of purchase for 1 year.
Ceramic coating on exhaust is warranted only while the product is packaged. Any scratches or nicks from install are not covered. If the coating has damage from shipping get in contact with us before installing, ultimate decision is based upon our inspection.
Wrapping the pipe with heat tape may adversely affect the pipe & WILL VOID warranty.
Cone Performance does not guarantee the pipes against discoloration or peeling/flaking on coated exhaust.
Brushed Stainless
Brushed stainless systems will naturally discolor turning gold and into dark bronze color the hotter it gets. This is a normal characteristic of the material. Every engine runs differently, tunes play a vital role in how hot the exhaust is getting. A warranty claim for discoloration or otherwise normal characteristic of the material won't be accepted.
High Temp Ceramic Coating
High temp ceramic coating on exhaust having discoloration, fading, is considered normal with the rapid heat build up with motorcycle exhaust and therefore not warranted as a defect in materials or craftmanship.
High Polish "Mirror"
High polish stainless systems will discolor just as a normal brushed finish would do. They are not chrome plated so the color changes and discolorations attributes are normal and not a valid reason for warranty.
